Call for Indigenous Writers & Artists: Please submit work on the theme of Disability Justice for a Zine to be created in 2022 through a partnership between Abalone Mountain Press and @in_na_po , Indigenous Nations Poets. What does disability justice look like for Indigenous communities? We are looking for multi-media submissions including: poetry, visual art, illustrations, cartoons, photographs, infographics, personal essays, creative nonfiction, song lyrics, dance, oral narrative, and any other genre of artistic and written expression. Submissions open from January 24 - February 15, 2022. Those whose work is included will receive a small honorarium and copies of the Zine.
This project is a part of the Academy of American Poets’ Poetry Coalition’s 2022 programming around Poetry & Disability Justice.
